Whether it’s a theater production, runway fashion show or live event – Jana & Co. Makeup and Hair Design is dedicated to work with your production company from the "inspiration" point of each project, to the last curtain call!
Working alongside the producer/director, we can be as involved as necessary with the cast and crew to make your production run smoothly. Attending pre-production meetings to discuss character development for makeup/hairstyling can be helpful to facilitate the director’s vision. We are also available to teach private/group classes for actors needing help with their own character makeup.
Using the actor’s BW headshot, the character makeup is designed/created using a tracing overlay of the face. Utilizing this design and teaching him/her how to apply the makeup is not only fun, but empowering to your actors to help them get into character!
